The Spring and Autumn, and Warring States period of the latter part of the Chou Dynasty is the most dynamic and wide-ranging period of intellectual inquiry ever undertaken by our Chinese peoples. We go back over two-thousand years to arrive at the origin of numerous academic and scientific ideas, and we still have yet to exceed the intellectual boundaries of this time. We truly cannot but be amazed at what was produced by the many schools of thought during this period! To have such an abundance of ideas! In our analysis the source of these intellectual attainments is most definitely among these several points.
